Timing will be done by BibTag and all results will be ready immediatly following the event. Awards will be given out during the pancake breakfast post race, for athletes and families alike.
We are working on getting you a finishing pic as part of your day here at our inagural 5k, with the help of the Okanagan Running Club this event should be a blast.
We are adding stuff all the time, wine for each age gorup, money for overall and masters, we now have a CLICK HERE to book room at host hotel for race package pickup and out of towners.
Medals for each finisher, and the list goes on.
A bit about DR Brad Thatcher
​
Dr. Thatcher is a recognized expert in protein science and leads our research and ideation projects. Dr. Thatcher has spent the last 16 years in the biotechnology field and is an expert in separation, testing and analysis of proteins. He is focused on delivering unique products for the company. Dr. Thatcher’s career covers both scientific management and product development consultant for a number of: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical companies. Dr. Thatcher has consulted and worked for a number of regulated productions for: medical devices, medical tests, instrument performance (QC/QA, certification, etc.) in both North America and Europe. Dr. Thatcher holds degrees in biochemistry and biology from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and a PhD. in biology from Carleton University (Canada). Dr. Thatcher is the holder of more than 20 patents, 9 peer reviewed publications.
